There is no question that most women have fallen in love with the athletic gear from LuLu Lemon and continuously sport it both in and out of the gym. I cannot say that I do not fall into this category or deny that LuLu Lemon pants are flattering on most bodies. That being said, I am ready for a change. Every time I walk into Equinox, I am immediately brought back to my days in Catholic School where every girl wore matching plaid jumpers. LuLu Lemon has become the “go-to” uniform for every upscale athletic woman in Chicago. I went to a spinning class last week and thought, “Did I miss the memo, or are we all coincidentally wearing LuLu Lemon leggings and hoodies to the gym today?” If you are as over LuLu Lemon as I am, you might want to check out some athletic alternatives. Many of which can be found at Deka in the 900 N building. (Conveniently located above Equinox!) Deka carries lines like Addidas by Stella McCartney, Y-3, Michi and Kings of Cole to name a few. If you are looking to spice up your athletic wardrobe it is definitely worth a browse.
