I have always loved attending the shows during Fashion Week. So much work and thought goes into every aspect of the presentation and still the show seems to fly by in a matter of minutes. I often find myself struggling to take everything in at once. There are so many visual and emotional images radiating from the runway – The Clothes, The Shoes, The Hair, The Make-Up, The Music. As difficult as it is to absorb so much at once it almost adds to the allure. You are probably thinking maybe this girl is having trouble seeing the runway and she should get some better seats! Point Taken! I am sure things are a bit clearer from Anna Wintour’s chair! Unfortunately, I wasn’t even in the rafters for the Spring 2012 shows in Paris this time! I still have seen each and every one of the collections – thank you Style.com!! I have to say my absolute favorite is Giambatista Valli. Finally something different we haven’t seen on every other runway. It also fits my timeless,ageless rule and is unique enough to justify paying the big bucks.
If you have a chance to look at the collection on-line, I would like exits 12, 16 (LOVE) 22, 35, and 43 in my closet come May.
