As the 4th of July approaches I know you are all wondering what to wear. Too often I see people go overboard when it comes to celebrating our country’s patriotism. Just because it’s the 4th of July doesn’t mean you have to wear glitter, stars, and our flags colors. By no means does a holiday truly designate a particular color scheme. Think of July 4th as just another American summer barbecue. Dress comfortably chic. Wear light airy colors whites, pale yellows, pretty purples. For the fourth, go dressy with a white summer dress and some crazy wedges. Or there’s always the option to go a bit more casual with a pair of colored shorts, sandals, and a flowy top. Show your American pride with accessories. Wear a pretty blue necklace or ring, but I beg of you do not put an America flag bandana in you hair. Be patriotic chic not cheap. Enjoy your 4th of July.
