I have to admit that like most women, I do love a good sale! It has been fun checking out the Fall merchandise that recently went on sale in all of my favorite Chicago stores as well as online. I tend to gravitate towards unique fashion forward pieces that are not the easiest sell. Lucky for me, this type of clothing often ends up on the sale rack. However, I have learned that sometimes there is a reason why certain items are heavily discounted at the end of the season. There can be issues in terms of fit, fabric, weight and color. Some garments may even be damaged. It is important to be aware of these things when browsing the sale section. This knowledge will hopefully prevent you from making the most common shopping mistake which is to buy something solely because it is on sale. There is no doubt that things are more appealing at 50% off, but if you would not consider them at full price forget it!
