I couldn’t believe my eyes when I was walking home today and spotted a painted truck stand selling Vera Bradley. I am all for the pop up store concept, but I cannot support a store on wheels. For Vera’s sake, I pray those paisley wonders are knock offs. I realize that Vera Bradley products are not exactly Fendi bags in terms of price, style or fabric but come on! When a designer reduces their store front to a mere hot dog stand there is a problem. I recognize that I am a fashion snob and that my opinion is a bit harsh. It is very possible that some people might be interested in checking this out (or mocking it – half kidding). Unless it has moved, the stand is located at the corner of Michigan and Chestnut.
Vera Bradley – come get it while it’s hot!
