The Pre Fall Collection for Celine this year was interesting. There was a lot going on – camouflage, houndstooth, color block. It was also defined by the mixing of fabric. There were some beautiful pieces that were combined with leather and a particularly gorgeous coat with a mix of fur. One of the most popular pieces was the one piece strapless jumper worn by Phoebe Philo. It can be yours for $5400! I am sure the price tag went up once the designer herself was photographed in it. That aside, I believe this is a collection to watch. It gets increasingly better every season. Going from the hands of Michael Kors to Phoebe has significantly changed the face of Celine. Even the accessories were particularly great. My new fav is called “The Phantom”. You will be seeing it on my arm this Fall!
