Last winter I had the wedding of my dreams and married the man of my dreams in a “Winter Wonderland” themed ceremony and reception located in downtown Chicago. Inside Weddings magazine recently interviewed me and my husband, Christopher on wedding registry advice.
We shared our personal wish list from four different specialty stores with the publication and gave tips to other couples-to-be on how to make wise decisions when choosing your housewares. Here is an excerpt of the registry advice included in the piece:
Take stock. “Be conscious of what you want, need, and can fit in your home.”
Accidents happen. “Register for a few extra place settings and glasses to replace those that break.”
Have fun. “If you’re starting to feel any stress during the process, just leave the store and try it again another day.”
Give thanks. “Take a picture of yourself using your gift and send it to the person who gave it to you.”
