RetrofloralbathingcapAaron’s Apothecary first caught my eye a few years ago when I was strolling down Clark Street. The window display was so creative and fabulous that I could not resist popping in to see what this place was all about. I did not need anything that day, but in true Tracy form I still ended up purchasing a retro floral bathing cap – I just couldn’t restrain myself! It is something you would see on a sexy 1950’s pinup girl, or…Lena Dunham!

Since then, Aaron’s Apothecary has become my go-to spot for almost everything. There is a full service pharmacy that will deliver free of charge and provide the coolest prescription bottles. One look at them and you will never want to walk into another CVS! Aaron stocks the basics like toothpaste, razors, etc. but also carries an array of great beauty products, perfumes and makeup lines like Kevyn Aucoin and glo therapeutics. There are also incredible items and scents for the home that Fornasetti.Candles make gorgeous gifts.  I love everything from Fornasetti and am constantly buying Amouge candles in the Divine Oud scent for my husband’s office. There is even a lovely selection of cards for every occasion.

Oh?! And are you in need of a new pair of Spanx and can’t make it to Bloomingdales today? You can call the store and have a pair delivered no problem. All of the bases are covered at Aaron’sscentedcandle_divineoud_540x448 Apothecary!

As someone who loves and appreciates specialty clothing boutiques, I am so impressed by Aaron’s Apothecary and its friendly staff, who are welcoming and knowledgeable. Aaron’s has managed to take the specialty store concept and apply it to wellness, beauty, home and gift needs. It is like the best of Walgreens, Sephora, and Barney’s home/beauty wrapped up in one pretty bow! This is truly a one stop shop for your home, medicine cabinet and makeup bag.
